Business creation and formalities

How can I start my own business?

Business creation will now be done online via the national business creation platform. Currently, applications are submitted manually. The Regional Investment Center (CRI) does not handle the formalities directly, but it assists project leaders in preparing their applications, guides them step-by-step in using the platform, and answers all their questions about the necessary documents, choosing a legal structure, and administrative procedures.

Yes, after submitting your application on the national platform, you can track its progress online. The CRI can help you understand the steps involved and the notifications you receive.

Generally :

  • Copy of the national identity card,
  • Negative certificate of the trade name,
  • Registered office address (lease agreement or proof of address),
  • Company statutes,
  • Specific permits may be required if the activity is regulated.

    The CRI helps you prepare these documents correctly.

The fees vary according to the legal form (Self-employed ≈ 0-200 DH; SARL ≈ 1,000 to 3,000 DH; SA ≈ 7,000 DH and more).

What support programs are available?

The best known are:
