As the Federation explains, Fenagri supports stakeholders in the sector towards a concrete energy transition by integrating sustainable and low-carbon solutions into their production chains. This approach is part of a broader modernization of the Moroccan agri-food industry, aligned with objectives of competitiveness, innovation, and environmental responsibility. The Federation also launched a strategic study on local sourcing in the agri-food sector, as part of efforts to strengthen national supply chains and promote short supply chains.
This study aims to identify the drivers of local sourcing development in the agri-food industry. It aligns with a vision of food sovereignty, reduced dependence on imports, and the creation of shared value among stakeholders in the supply chain. By engaging stakeholders in the sector, the Federation intends to work towards a more resilient, sustainable, and locally rooted ecosystem.
